10% Happier content touches millions of lives already - through our meditation app, best-selling books, and top-ranked podcast. We’re growing fast, and are looking for a Senior Producer to tell incredible stories about meditation and training the mind across multiple content channels, including developing new channels and content properties.
This role requires 5+ years of experience telling stories using online video in a collaborative professional environment. Here’s what you'll be responsible for:
Content vision - As a creative, you’ll generate compelling original content concepts and formats that can expose training the mind to large new audiences. You’ll know how to leverage the witty, no-bs, edgy, vulnerable 10% Happier brand tone across all of our endeavors. In addition to the app, new content could include a YouTube channel, film documentaries, social media content, or a Netflix series.
Journalistic Storytelling - Training the mind is a confounding complex subject matter. You’ll develop narrative stories that make it fun to learn and practice. You’ll have at your disposal our co-founder Dan Harris and our world-class team of meditation teachers (including industry luminaries like Sharon Salzberg and Joseph Goldstein).
Production - You will manage all aspect of content creation, including hiring and managing freelancers, producing/directing on shoots, juggling multiple projects in post, and developing & adhering to production budgets.
